Filled with natural light from the high glass roof and boasting incredible views across the Peaks, the open-plan lounge/diner encourages relaxation, with plush sofas for the humans and lots of snoozing nooks for your furry friends. The galley-style kitchen is ideal for whipping up hearty dinners and doggo snacks, before gathering everyone at the dining table, or outside, to enjoy the chef’s hard work. When bedtime calls, rest up before the next day’s adventure in the three sumptuous bedrooms that await; three double rooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, the other two boasting en-suite shower room. Outside, embrace tranquility in the historic gardens, and enjoy al fresco food and drinks at the outdoor seating near the crackling fire pit and BBQ. With its stunning views and local wildlife, this is an awe-inspiring setting in which to unwind.

Let your dog lead the way to adventure on a walk along the Tissington Trail, the High Peak Trail, or the Monsall Trail - all passing the holiday home. Stop off for a classic namesake dessert in Bakewell (9 miles) or visit the spa town of Buxton (9 miles), with its world-renowned Georgian and Victorian architecture and lively music scene. For the history enthusiasts of the group, Chatsworth House, Pevril Castle, and Haddon Hall are all within 10 miles of the cottage and have fabulous walking routes for humans and hounds.

• 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
• There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
