Three steps lead up onto a decked wooden terrace with doors leading into this cute shepherd’s hut. Inside, the main living area benefits from underfloor heating, a TV and a wood burner. There’s a small dining area to the side of the kitchenette so you can rustle up a range of tasty breakfasts, snacks and meals. When it’s time to retire for the night, there’s a comfortable king-size bed at the other end of the hut. This cheery hideaway also features a shower room. Outside, the decked area has outdoor furniture, perfect for sitting back and taking in the glorious views. The spacious and enclosed garden has plenty of room for your pets to run and play, alongside additional seating and a private hot tub for you to luxuriate in.
The village of St Harmon lies north of the picturesque market town of Rhayader (3 miles), with some great places to eat and drink. Your pets are welcome to help you explore Gilfach Nature Reserve (2.5 miles) and the Elan Valley Visitor Centre (7 miles) before you head off around the dams and reservoirs of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys, or north into the Cambrian Mountains.
