It’s one of three Victorian and Georgian resorts along this coast, with Ramsgate (2.5 miles) and Margate (4.5 miles) also having an abundance of things to do, including a range of independent shops and eateries. Further afield, you can also visit Canterbury (20 miles) known for great shopping and its cathedral.
