Ideal for the entire family, this bungalow property presents the accommodation’s entire offering on the ground floor. Perfect for dog owners, the kitchen/diner offers French door access to the generously proportioned garden, a space that’s entirely enclosed for your dog to roam freely. In bright weather, leave the doors wide open to enjoy relaxing alfresco whilst children and pets play. If the weather isn’t playing ball, head back inside to get snug in the lounge. With Smart TV and comfy seating, you’ll love curling up here with your beloved pooch snoozing at your feet. When it’s time for bed, let sleeping dogs lie in the cosy lounge and head off to one of three wonderfully presented bedrooms located just off the hallway.

Pack up some doggy treats and set off on foot to discover fantastic walkies routes close by. Black Combe (3 miles) is a nearby fell at the south-west edge of the Lake District National Park, offering an easy going and a slightly harder route for ascending the peak. Situated close to the coast, you’ll also find a handful of pretty beaches where dogs are welcome to freely roam. Head to Millom (3.5 miles) and spend time on Millom Beach (5 miles) or Haverigg Beach (5 miles), both wide expanses of sand and shingle where pets are always welcome.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

We had a lovely week at Rose Lea. The house was very clean, comfortable & well equipped. Our two Setters loved the large garden & the secure fencing gave peace of mind that they could not escape. The peaceful location was perfect, with lots of places to visit within easy reach. All in all, Rose Lea exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely beautiful bungalow lovely size rooms fantastic showers in place and very well equipped for all our needs. The garden is a perfect place to sit and relax very private and secure for our small dog . Would love to visit again nice little village and all places of interest easy to reach by car

We stayed at Rose Lee for 3 nights in the new year and we loved it. Ive never stayed in such a well equipped holiday home. The kitchen was fantastic and the board games and Netflix were an added bonus. Its a very spacious bungalow and we had no problems whatsoever. We visited the aquarium and zoo whilst there, both were 30 minutes or so drive and tRead morehe kids loved both excursions. Very spacious bungalow and very well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was always warm, even during dreadful rainy weather over Christmas. Cottage was brilliant for our needs, I was on crutches everywhere was easy including the garden. Our dog was able to roam freely around large garden nowhere to escape. Cottage location was good for beaches. our favorite being Haverigg the quite and bird life is great. Overall we had a great week. .6th to 13th October.

Wow! What a find! A perfectly presented cottage with everything you need. Such a perfect location to explore the Lakes. And a VERY dog friendly beautiful garden, all stock fenced so even the smallest dog could not escape. A family of five adults had plenty of room and comfort throughout the cottage.

Brilliant well equipped cottage, very comfortable and homely. Very accessible for anyone with mobility problems. Garden lovely and great for dog as was totally enclosed. Located in a lovely village and would recommend the village pub.

The property was lovely especially the dining room looking out onto the garden where we spent most of our time with the weather been absolutely gorgeous. and spending time out in the garden on an evening relaxing with cold beers and wine. The bathrooms were very nice and the showers were excellent. The beds were very comfy. Lovely bungalow in quiet location. Ideal for visiting all areas of the Lake District. Fully equipped for 6. Internet access and tv access to all apps. Board Games to play if you have time. Very clean, lovely garden, plenty of parking. Walks from the door. Really enjoyed our New Years break.

Rose Lea is a very well equipped property with good sized bedrooms, lounge and a lovely kitchen diner with large patio doors onto the garden.
