This beautiful property is situated in a prime location of Port Isaac with spectacular sea views. A great base for exploring the wonderful locations of the North Cornish coast and, in particular, the ever-popular Rock and Padstow.

Invite 11 friends and family to this fresh and vibrant property which perches on the waterfront and is close to pubs, shops and restaurants. Nestled on the sandy shores of Port Isaac, your two dogs will go mutts at the thought of morning walkies on the glistening coastline.

Enter through a porch into this lovely three-storey detached cottage and make your way into the large kitchen to pop the kettle on. Pour yourself a nice cup of tea and a bowl of water for the pups and settle down in the open-plan living/dining room, where you can toast chilly toes in front of the wood burner. Soak up the far-reaching sea views from the bay window and sip your tea as you do so. Why not grab some local seafood and dine alfresco in the garden? The space has plenty of garden furniture to gather for mealtimes, and the grassy area provides a vast pottering space for Buddy and Bonnie. There are five delightful bedrooms to choose from; the first is a bunk room on the first floor with an additional single bed and there’s a double bedroom with exceptional sea views from another bay window. On the second floor, you'll find two twin bedrooms and one double, again with sea views and private washing facilities. Once you've slept like a log, awake to find lashings of bacon being cooked up in the kitchen, along with your morning coffee and a sunny spot at the breakfast seating area to enjoy your first meal of the day.

The property is in a prime location to lap up all that Port Isaac has to offer. Walk in the footsteps of Doc Martin, through the winding cobbled streets and along its lively working harbour, where you can watch the fishermen going about their day. Take snaps of the photogenic granite and whitewashed cottages that line the streets before topping up your energy stores with a stop at one of the many dog-friendly inns, bistros, restaurants and independent stores. Plenty of pooch-welcoming beaches are available too, including Daymer Bay, Bedruthan Steps and Watergate Bay, all within 25 miles.

A lovely house in a great location with an amazing view, we really enjoyed our week here. The house has a basic rustic style but is excellent value for money and a great base for family days out all around Cornwall. As others have mentioned, parking can be an issue but we soon identified likely nearby on-street parking places and rarely had to parkRead more too far from the house. The main problem is the "Doc Martin" day trippers filling up the car parks, so parking is much easier in the evenings. Hide
