A beautiful character property located just a short drive away from the centre of medieval Rye and its historic, cobbled streets. Furnished throughout with tasteful décor, it's the perfect family choice.

Book a group break to East Sussex and bring Fido along for some fun too. This impressive, five-bedroom home, set in three-quarters of an acre of beautiful grounds at Peasmarsh, sleeps up to 10 guests, as well as one happy hound. Find footpaths to follow in the nearby surroundings, plus sandy beaches where your furry friend can join you. Return home to relax and play games with your contented canine out in the large, leafy garden.

Leave jackets and leads in the hall then find your way to the bright kitchen/diner to prepare hearty meals for your family and friends. Dish up doggy dinners in here too before taking your pooch through into the lounge so he can bask in the glow of the wood burner while you watch the Smart TV or play games in the conservatory next door. Discover a king-size bedroom, with en-suite shower room, at this level too, plus a useful utility room for cleaning muddy paws. Two sets of stairs lead up to the first floor, where there is a king-size bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, plus a double bedroom, with balcony. A family bathroom and two twin rooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with small bath, making it ideal for youngsters, can also be found here. Spill outside on warm days to watch the children play with their four-legged friend while you fire up the BBQ. Find parking for four cars at the house.

Head out into the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for long walks with your delighted dog. Find sandy coastal stretches where your canine companion can run free while you spend sunny days on the beach or organise bracing walks. Try Broomhill Sands, for example, 8.5 miles away. Dogs are also welcome at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, 6.5 miles from the house.

The "Cottage" is a really lovely house in which we would all have loved to live. It was very well equipped, to a high standard and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the dcor and furnishing. The grounds add to the charm and although the weather restricted the amount of time that we could spend in them, we did enjoy several rounds of croquet, whRead moreich we had brought with us. The Coach House is a comfortable house with a lovely garden and in an excellent situation with plenty to do in the area. We had a good holiday with three generations of our family. There were some minor criticisms which we have drawn to the owners attention.

Family holiday for us, children, grandchildren and dog. House is lovely and gardens are amazing. Very good provision of equipment and good instructions dotted about so we knew how to use everything. We very much enjoyed our stay. Lovely house and garden. We were 8 adults and 1 three year old but you hardly noticed we were a large group there is so much space both inside and out. Comfortable beds, bedrooms and bathrooms. The little one immediately recognised the conservatory as "his" playroom! Great family house. Plenty of areas for people to spread out for peace and quiet if required. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful garden and very private. Lots of comfy sofas and games. Walking distance to supermarket and pub. Large kitchen diner. Good sized fridge/freezer. Loved it.

This comfortable, well-equipped property is in a perfect location for visiting the many attractions in the East Sussex area, from the historic towns of Rye and Hastings to the many gardens including Great Dixter, Hole Park and Sissinghurst. Jempsons supermarket and the Cock Inn are within walking distance and the Flackley Ash Hotel & Restaurant is Read moreright next door to the property. Hide

The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely grounds and convenient for drinks and meal next door in the hotel. (Dog friendly) . Very good supermarket few minutes drive. Definitely geared for children and summer stays. We had a great Christmas vacation.

A few items need looking at to keep the house up to a good standard but these did not stop our family enjoying a good holiday and all liked the property and location, so don't be put off. Go and enjoy.

A lovely comfortable place to stay , immaculate , large secluded enclosed garden . Quality Hotel / restaurant minutes walk away as is Jempsons Superstore which was most useful . Rye and Bodiam together with many other villages short interesting drives away . We would certainly like to stay again is the best recommendation .

A lovely house and gardens. The weather was hot so we made good use of the ample garden furniture. The children loved the toys and the grown ups enjoyed the supply of games. Great location, easy 10-15 mins drive into Rye and Jempson's superstore in walking distance was great. Didn't want to leave, thank you, I am sure we will be back!
