Enjoy a tasty meal cooked on the AGA-style oven, looking out through the patio doors to the garden, before sinking into the sofas in the lounge to read a book or watch TV. For some peace and quiet, sneak off to the snug off the kitchen and curl up in front of the wood burner with the pups at your feet. At bedtime, snuggle up in bed in one of the restful rooms; wake up in one of the king-size bedrooms to spectacular countryside views.
You’re in a fantastic position to explore both coast and country. Visit the privately-owned village Clovelly (12 miles) and walk the steep streets and the South West Coastal Path for some superb views, or pop to Bude (5.5 miles) where kids will love the tidal pool and the canines can enjoy Crooklets Beach between October and Easter Sunday. Further afield but still within easy reach, Boscastle (19.5 miles) has a striking river and harbour and has plenty of shops and cafes to peruse at your leisure.
