Beautiful  Grade II country house that was a former Rectory (sleeping a total of 14) that sit at the end of a private drive, located on the edge of the charming village of Kilkhampton, this is the ideal spot from which you can explore all North Cornwall and Devon.

This stunning property, situated down a private drive at the edge of pretty Kilkhampton, is a wonderful choice for your entire family or group of friends – including up to two furry ones! Sleeping eight across four stylish bedrooms and with plenty of room for the pups to snooze, you could all soon be enjoying the beautiful scenery that’s not far from the house. Head to Sandymouth Bay Beach (3.5 miles) where pups can unleash it all, year-round. Return home to scoff some of the tasty Cornish treats in your welcome hamper.

The holiday let, which is part of a complex of properties, is spacious and comfortable. The elegant dining room is fresh and bright, while the kitchen has a large farmhouse-style table that’s ideal for less formal meals. Enjoy a tasty meal cooked on the AGA-style oven, looking out through the patio doors to the garden, before sinking into the sofas in the lounge to read a book or watch TV. For some peace and quiet, sneak off to the snug off the kitchen and curl up in front of the wood burner with the pups at your feet. At bedtime, snuggle up in bed in one of the restful rooms; wake up in one of the king-size bedrooms to spectacular countryside views.
You’re in a fantastic position to explore both coast and country. Visit the privately-owned village Clovelly (12 miles) and walk the steep streets and the South West Coastal Path for some superb views, or pop to Bude (5.5 miles) where kids will love the tidal pool and the canines can enjoy Crooklets Beach between October and Easter Sunday. Further afield but still within easy reach, Boscastle (19.5 miles) has a striking river and harbour and has plenty of shops and cafes to peruse at your leisure.

Amazing beautiful house and grounds. The photos on the website do not portray the true size and proportion of the rooms and grounds. The house is so comfortable and spacious with picture perfect views from every room, so peaceful and relaxing with everything you need for your stay. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area. Overall, our Family thought it was a perfect home from home property. Plenty of space to have time to yourself. The outlook, views and size of the grounds were superb. Excellent for the dogs. Ideal for visiting other parts of the county.

The Old Rectory is a lovely property in a beautiful tranquil setting. The accommodation is very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The owners communicated well with us and provided extensive information about the house and the local area and they were very attentive during our stay. Would love to stay again.

Great location and a wonderful play to stay - felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. All the family had a very relaxing Christmas - so much space that you could find your own little spot and get away from the hustle and bustle!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Old Rectory. Cannot recommend this property more highly, it has everything you could need in gorgeous surroundings. The croquet set and the beautiful fire were our favourites. Close to Clovelly, Tintagel, and lots of other perfect day trips.

We had a fantastic stay! The property and gardens were beautiful and big enough for our family. We loved the location as well, ideal as a very comfortable base to explore Bude and surrounding area. We enjoyed our holiday very much staying here and would absolutely love to stay here again in future!

What an amazing property!! We spent a week at the Old Rectory and didnt want to leave. Everything was absolutely spot on for our holiday a party of 4 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs and still had more than enough room to find of our own when needed. The Old Rectory is very impressive holiday accommodation with a grand country house feel in what is a delightful base to spend time when the weather is unkind. Wonderful gardens and well equipped it was an integral part of making our week special.

The Rectory was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and homely. Loved the gardens, views and location.
