The lounge features comfortable seating, TV, DVD and a wood burner set in a stone fireplace, making this a lovely spot to relax in at the end of a great day out. There’s also a great selection of books and games to keep you amused. The stylish dining area is perfect for sharing a family meal and for planning the day’s adventures. The fully-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, and there’s also a lovely snug and a sunny conservatory overlooking the garden. Going upstairs, there are four charming and cosy bedrooms with exposed beams on the first floor: a double, a twin, a bunk bedroom and a master bedroom with a king-size bed. A handy wet room is on the ground floor, and the main bathroom is on the first floor. The charming back garden features a table and chairs so you can enjoy a meal in the afternoon. There are plenty of walks which your dogs will love, right from the doorstep.
Satterthwaite is home to an excellent dog-friendly pub and is close to Grizedale Forest (4 miles) which offers a range of fantastic walks, bike trails and a Go Ape centre. Other local attractions include the Beatrix Potter house at Hill Top (6 miles), Lakeland Motor Museum (6.5 miles) and the two stunning local lakes: Coniston Water (9 miles) and Windermere (7 miles).
