Just the right size for couples’ getaways, solo breaks and family holidays, this three-person property in the heart of Appledore has plenty to write home about. And, as no holiday would be complete without man’s best friend, there’s space for your wet-nosed buddy too. Enjoy the great proximity to the Cornwall-Devon border, hopping between the counties as you please. There will be more than enough to keep both two and four-legged guests entertained, from long walkies in the countryside to picnics on the coast, leaving you with memories to last a lifetime.
A two-bedroom coastal retreat, this cottage is a haven in summer and sanctuary in winter. After a morning walk with Fido around the village, enjoy drawn-out breakfasts in the conservatory, tucking into wedges of buttered toast dolloped with homemade jam from the local deli. If the weather is being kind, you can even sit outside on the enclosed deck, sipping a mug of hot tea in the sunshine. As well as hearty breakfasts, the well-equipped kitchen has everything you could need for gastronomical masterpieces throughout the day, assisted by a certain four-legged someone eagerly reporting for tasting duties. In the evening, nothing will beat cuddling up in the lounge, watching a film whilst you treat your pup to some well-deserved tickles, hitting that sweet spot behind the ear! Ensuring everyone has somewhere comfortable to bed down, the two bedrooms are located upstairs, as is the shower room with luxurious heated towel rail.
